As a service to SEMICON exhibitors, SEMI provides media accreditation to members of the working press. Accreditation is granted at SEMI’s discretion and provides access to the exposition and working press room solely for the purposes of reporting on the electronics manufacturing supply chain, semiconductor equipment and materials industry, industry news events, new products, business development, and other news associated with SEMI expositions. Due to the number of requests received for press passes, media accreditation is limited to those acting in an editorial capacity for relevant publications or news organizations. Accredited Press have access to the SEMI Press Conference, SEMICON West Press Room, complimentary beverages, and are admitted to most SEMICON West events at no charge.
Analysts in the semiconductor space are encouraged to apply for an Analyst Badge. However, publishers/associate publishers, sales personnel, advertising, PR, marketing, technical support staff, consultants and exhibiting company personnel are not eligible for press credentials, except under special circumstances. Analysts have access to the SEMI Press Conference, SEMICON West Press Room, complimentary beverages, but must register and pay for SEMICON West programs.
SEMI requires proof of applicant’s professional status. Please see below for press accreditation requirements. Applications will be processed only upon receipt of all requested documentation.
Journalists and Analysts requesting credentials must pre-register online with SEMI Public Relations and agree to the SEMI Media Rules.
